| Ms. Hallie Lois Matthews, age 90, of Jefferson, GA died Friday, March 12, 2010 at Hill Haven Nursing Home. Ms. Matthews was born in Jackson County, GA to the late Homer Milton and Lilie Mae Greene Matthews. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Ms. Matthews is survived by her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Michelle and Sammy Looney of Jefferson; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Donald and Eileen Hazlegrove of Cincinnati, OH; brother, Jim Matthews of Nicholson; sisters, Opal Fields of Ila and Vera Jackson of Commerce; great-grandchildren, Holleigh and Hunter Looney and Laura, Caitlin, Wesley and Nicole McDonald. Funeral services will be at 3pm, Sunday, March 14 at Antioch United Methodist Church with Rev. Nancy Boorman, Rev. Donald Hazlegrove and Rev. Don Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6 to 9 pm. |
