| Mrs. Hilda Adams Baxter, age 80, of Commerce, GA died Monday March 8, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Baxter was born in Jackson County to the late, Alcy and Cleo Pittman Adams. Mrs. Baxter was a homemaker and a member of Erastus Christian Church. Mrs. Baxter is survived by her husband; Elrige “Duck” Baxter of Commerce, GA, son; Ted Baxter of Commerce, GA, daughters and sons-in-law; Kay and Doug Bridges of Commerce, GA, and Debbie and Mike Morris of Commerce, GA, brother; Jerry Adams of Commerce, GA, sisters; Peggy Booth of Nicholson, GA, and Jo Avant of Commerce, GA, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday 2:00 PM at Erastus Christian Church with Mr. Jim Jacobs and Mr. Steven Parker officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery.
