| Mrs. Elizabeth “Lib” Chastain, age 87, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Chastain was born in Belton, SC to the late T.L. and Allie Ruth Darby Cheatham. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce and was a retired bookkeeper with Commerce Drug Company. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chastain was preceded in death by her husband, Loyde Samuel Chastain. Mrs. Chastain is survived by her daughter, L. June Chastain of Suwanee, GA and sister, Kathryn Gray of Greenwood, SC. Funeral services will be at 2 pm, Saturday, March 6 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Dr. Carlton Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 5 to 7 pm. |
